ABOUT US

Who we are

Vision

We want to be a church that takes risks for God and is not afraid to try new ministry strategies. A church that teaches and preaches the gospel with a leading edge understanding of learning techniques. Our desire is to lead the unchurched to Christ and reunite those who have strayed away. We want to make outreach and evangelism a high priority in our community. Our goal is to develop balanced believers with a balanced diet of God’s word. We want to be a church where the unchurched can feel safe to come without being put down by misguided well-meaning overly religious believers before they have had time to grow. We refuse to allow doubt and unbelief to stop us.

Our Mission

Abundant Life Faith  Fellowship is a place of fellowship where people love God and pursue the discipleship of Jesus Christ through a spiritually balanced approach. We use the word of God and grace to reach the lost and develop believers through creative contemporary methods.

Our goal and desire is to make disciples that are spiritually balanced, beacons of light, and faith to our community and city. We desire to help our members deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other. We want to reach people through God’s love. We pledge our lives to demonstrate His love through worship and ministry, and we pledge to provide opportunities to meet the needs of the people of our church and community.

What we believe

The entire Bible was given to us by the inspiration of God and is used to teach us what is true. It corrects our daily walk with God and helps us do what is right. It also empowers us to become the best people that we could possibly be. It is God’s way of making us well prepared to live the most successful lives that we could possibly live.
(II Timothy 3:16-17; I Thessalonians 2:13)

God is One but manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All are equal.
(John 5:17)

Salvation through grace, by faith in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ is how we are saved. The term salvation is also accepted as the new birth. No one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again.
(Ephesians 2:8-10; John 3:3; Romans 10:9-10)

Water Baptism – believers are instructed to get baptized as a symbolism of repentance.
(Mark 3:11; Romans 6:1-4)

Also, it identifies a believer with Christ.
(Matthew 28:19)

Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire – It is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation. It is received after the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Holy Ghost Himself gives utterance.
(Matthew 3:11; John 14:16; Acts 1:8)

We believe in the resurrection of all men and women to a final judgment; eternal blessing for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked
(Matthew 25:31-46)
